Leo E. Taske, passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 93, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 26, 1930, and his memory will forever live on through the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Leo was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He also had a passion for gambling and people watching, always finding excitement in the thrill of chance. Leo loved nothing more than watching the Reds play, cheering on his favorite team with unwavering dedication. Leo was a proud 1949 graduate of St. Xavier High School and he retired from Procter and Gamble in 1988 after 39 dedicated years. However, Leo's greatest joy came from supporting his family. He was a proud grandfather who never missed a single one of his grandkids' activities, always there with a smile and a word of encouragement. Leo is preceded in death by his beloved wife Catherine M. "Kay" (nee Amend) Taske. He is survived by his devoted children, Jim (Barb) Taske, Leo (Kelle) Taske, John (Sandy) Taske and Carol (Adrian) Coxhead. Loving grandfather of Cheryl (Herb), Matt (Kayla), Maria, Andrew (Sydney), Paul, Hannah, Davis, Aaron (fiance' Anna), Katie, Ari and Daniel. Great grandfather of 7 great grandchildren and one great grandson on the way. Dear brother of the late Margaret Taske, late Joe Taske, late Rita (late Stan) Gillman and late Paul (late Marge) Taske. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
