Lena (nee Allen) Fawcett, beloved wife of 32 years to the late Ivan Fawcett. Devoted mother of Harry Hensley, Tonda (Charles) Cottle, Leslie (Rob) Bolyard, Lisa (Scott) Gausman, Ivan Tracy (Jessica) Fawcett, the late Sheila Smith and late Michael Hensley. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Brother Billy Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents Major and Lora (nee Thomas) Allen, and her four siblings: Thomas Allen, Lois Disney, Mark Allen, and Nellie Horton.

Lena lived a life dedicated to her family and home, embracing the role of a devoted homemaker. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate to know her. She possessed a wealth of wisdom and life experiences that she lovingly shared with her family and others.

Lena enjoyed reading Sandra Brown books and listening to Elvis Presley.  Lena also took great delight in observing the colorful array of birds that frequented her bird feeder outside her window. She was a wonderful friend and formed lasting friendships with fellow residents at Northgate Park Assisted Living home.
Known for her welcoming nature, Lena had a gift for making everyone feel like a friend and never meeting a stranger. With her gentle yet straightforward southern drawl, she spoke her mind with honesty and integrity, endearing herself to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In honoring her wishes, Lena selflessly chose to donate her body to science, showcasing her compassion even in her final moments. It was a decision that reflected her selflessness and desire to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Lena will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched. Her unwavering spirit and loving presence will leave an indelible mark in the hearts of her family and friends. Lena peacefully passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the age of 94. As we gather to honor and remember her, a Memorial Gathering will be held at the Frederick Funeral Home Family Center, 2553 Banning Rd. on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Matthew 25 Ministries , 11060 Kenwood Rd, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
