Loving husband for 65 years to Marilyn "Lynn" (nee Berlier) Lyon. Devoted father of Michael (Sue) Lyon, Cynthia Lyon, Melissa (Terry) King and Lawrence "Larry" Lyon III. Proud grandfather of many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cherished son of the late Lawrence G. (late Gertrude) Lyon. Dear brother of Marilyn (late Robert) Ruhe and the late Janet (late Russell) Ruhe. Lawrence passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the age of 88.

Join us in commemorating the life of Lawrence during the visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Road on Thursday (March 7) from 5-7 pm. Share your memories and pay your respects to this beloved individual.

In anticipation of the Mass of Christian Burial, to be held at St. Ann Church on Friday (March 8) at 10:30 am, we invite you to come together to honor Lawrence's legacy. Let us come together in solidarity, offering our love and support to his family during this time of remembrance.

As we prepare to bid farewell to Lawrence, let us celebrate the joy he brought to those around him, his unwavering love for his family, his passion for watching Lawrence Welk and watching or reading about World War II, his fondness for sharing a root-beer float or a coffee with friends and family, and visiting his favorite place in the world, Siesta Key, Florida while enjoying life's simple pleasures.

In his honor, let us remember the joyous moments, the laughter shared, and the love that filled his life. Lawrence's spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
