In loving memory of Kerry Mullaney, who was born on May 20, 1962, in Cincinnati, OH, and peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the age of 62 surrounded by his loving family. Kerry was a vibrant soul whose warmth and spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. His absence will be felt deeply by his family and friends, as he brought joy and laughter wherever he went.

The essence of Kerry was captured in his love for family, which brought him immeasurable joy. He was a dear brother of Tom (Lisa) Mullaney, Noreen (Doug) Pierani, Laura (Dena Morris) Sweet, Diane (Dennis) Spitznagel, Richard (Karen) Sweet, Michael (Darlene) Sweet, and Paul (Jennifer) Sweet. He was preceded in death by his late brothers, Mike Mullaney, and his twin brother, the late Kevin (Cathy) Mullaney, who will surely welcome him into the embrace of eternity. Kerry was a loving uncle to Kelsey, Evan and Benjamin Mullaney, Laney (Greg) Behan, Molly (Coby) Bromen, Emma Pierani, Alex, Ryan and Meagan Mullaney, Dennis (Jen) Spitznagel, Tony (Mariah) Spitznagel, Andy Spitznagel, Brian (Taylor) Sweet, Justin Sweet, Michael (Nicole) Sweet Jr., Melanie (Brian) Burgess, Laura Sweet and Kyle (Amanda) Sweet and a cherished great uncle to numerous great-nieces and nephews, who were fortunate to know his gentle and loving spirit. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, the late Janet (nee Rothring) and late Richard J. Sweet. Kerry will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Kerry found joy in the simple pleasures of life, as he indulged in his passion for golf and gardening. He also enjoyed the camaraderie of poker with friends every Friday night for over 45 years, where he developed his remarkable skill in the game. A man of deep knowledge and cultural appreciation, Kerry loved to explore history and read extensively. He took great pride in holding dual citizenship in Ireland and the United States, a testament to his deep appreciation for culture and heritage.

A visitation to celebrate Kerry's life will be held on Wednesday (February 12) at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Road, from 5:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of his warm spirit and the legacy of love he leaves behind. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday (February 13) at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 N Bend Rd, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati , P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263, in honor of the compassionate care Kerry received. Kerry Mullaney will always be remembered for the love he spread and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
