Kent W. Lehmann

Beloved son, brother, father, uncle and grandfather died 9/3/2020. Kent was born on December 15, 1958 in Hamilton, Ohio to Clarence and Robbie (nee Cole), and he was a lifetime resident of Cincinnati, Ohio. Kent received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Cincinnati where he met his wife of 35 years Joyce (nee Clingerman) Lehmann, and he earned his Masters of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Kent and Joyce raised a son and daughter, and lovingly welcomed their first grandson on 7/20/2020, and for Kent family came first, and his passion for baseball a close second. They enjoyed opening their home to friends and family. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball for much of his adult life, but truly enjoyed supporting and traveling the country with his son's baseball and daughter's volleyball club teams through the years. He also enjoyed coaching his son in youth football, basketball and baseball.

Often on the go, Kent was a seasoned traveler who enjoyed taking romantic domestic and international trips with Joyce. They specifically enjoyed international trips together to Italy, France, Amsterdam, Germany and Brazil.

For his professional life, Kent was employed by GE Aviation for 42 years, and he enjoyed a very successful commercial engine sales career for over 23 years developing strong business relationships and lifelong friendships with customers and colleagues alike.

Kent will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Robbie (nee Cole), and he is survived by his wife, Joyce, his son, Blake (Cati) Lehmann, and daughter, Martha Lehmann, and sisters, Velma and Kathleen Lehmann, Sandy Daly, with brother-in laws, Greg (Ann) & Dale (Sue) Clingerman, and sister-in –law Maria (Harold) Zernich along with 15 nieces & nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, 325 W. Eighth St. Cincinnati, OH 45202 on Saturday, September 12 at 10am. Following the mass family will greet guests. Social distancing will be practiced and mask are required to be worn at the church. Donations in memory of Kent can be made to the Cancer Society .
