Kathleen H. Maue, lovingly known as Babe, will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and deep devotion to family and friends. Born on May 23, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William and late Minnie (nee Stein) Blessing, she departed this life on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 96, surrounded by the love of her family.

The beating heart of her family, Babe was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Maue, Sr. Together, they crafted a life rich in joy and laughter, nurturing a loving environment for their family to flourish. Their bond was a testament to the power of love, capturing the laughter of their children, Karen (Rick) Leatherman, Kevin (Cherie) Maue and the late Robert (Wendy) Maue, Jr., and etching warm memories that will endure through generations. She will be cherished in the hearts of her grandchildren: Amy (Jon) Wallpe, Traci Leatherman, Tony (fiancé Margot) Leatherman, Danielle (Todd) Stockelman, Frank Maue, Bryan Maue, Tyler Maue, and Nathan Maue. A proud great-grandmother, she delighted in the innocent laughter of Dana, Caitlyn, Peyton, Ella, and Robby. With unparalleled pride, she celebrated each milestone of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cheering them on from the sidelines and providing a constant source of encouragement in all their endeavors. Her spirit will forever linger in their hearts, urging them onward in their own life's pursuits.

Preceded in death by her eleven beloved siblings. Babe's generous spirit and caring nature touched countless lives. Her strong faith was a guiding light, illuminating her path and the paths of those fortunate enough to know her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor at St. Ann Church, 2900 W. Galbraith Rd., on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation at Frederick Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Ann Church, reflecting her lifelong commitment to community and faith.
