In loving memory of Kathleen Martin, who was born on March 31, 1962, in Jackson, Michigan and peacefully passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 64. Kathleen is cherished daughter of Dallie Thomas and was a beloved partner, mother, grandmother, and sister. She leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, kindness, and an infectious sense of humor that will forever resonate with those fortunate enough to have known her.

Kathleen shared 26 wonderful years of love and companionship with her partner, Dale Totten. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with laughter, warmth, and cherished memories where he remained her rock throughout their life. As a devoted mother to Donald Martin, Justin Martin, and the late Heather Dysert her love extended even further as she embraced the joys of being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the devoted sister of Lisa Thompson, Chrissy Anderson, Laurie Dudeck, and Brian Anderson, and she was preceded in death by her siblings George Anderson and Patsy Anderson. Kathleen will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Kathleen was a woman of simple pleasures. She found solace in watching her favorite television show, “Heat of the Night” and delighted in the adventures of fishing in Kentucky with her boys during their childhood. A true bargain hunter, she loved going to yard sales, where she often found items that would bring her and others joy. She was also a devoted animal lover, as she had a special place in her heart for stray animals, often welcoming them into her home and caring for those in need. However, it was the time spent with family that truly filled her heart. Her upbeat and vibrant personality lit up every room, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathleen Martin’s spirit will continue to shine through the love she imparted, reminding us all of the importance of family, laughter, and cherishing the moments that matter most. Her memory will be a guiding light for all who loved her, and as we reflect on her life, we carry her spirit with us always.
