Kathleen "Kathy" Fritsch passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at Mt. Healthy Christian Village in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her death. She was 92 years old.

She was born on July 15,1933, one of four daughters born to the late Herman and Henrietta (nee Mersch) Schulz. She was preceded in death by her dear sisters and beloved brothers-in-law Margie (Tom) Connors, Betty (Bill) Rudemiller and Shirley (Bob) Krumpe.

Kathy married Donald Hebbeler on November 25, 1954. They had four children:Paul Hebbeler (Christine Fletcher), John Hebbeler, Donna (Jim) Hoffman, and Mark (Margaret) Hebbeler. She will be missed by her grandchildren: Jennifer Hoffman (John Cappel), Jessica Hoffman (Albin Arvidsson), John Hoffman (Lily Burdick), and Isaac Hebbeler. She was a devoted Gammel Mormor to her great-granddaughter, Cleo Arvidsson. Following the death of her husband Donald in 1973, Kathy was married to Edward Fritsch for over 35 years until his death in 2017. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her stepchildren.

She loved sewing, reading, landscape design, planting flowers in her yard, and watching the Reds and Bengals play. Her favorite was spending time with family and the many treasured friends she made over the years.

Kathy worked for McAlpins and later Dillards for more than 30 years at both Northgate and Tri-County locations. During retirement, she spent time volunteering at Corpus Christi's Food Pantry and traveling with her sisters.

She spent her final years making new friends and playing cards/games at Mt. Healthy Christian Home and was treasured by staff and residents alike. She always had a story to tell and enjoyed making others laugh! Kathy loved life and lived it to its fullest despite some adversity. She was a strong, loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, at 10 am until the Funeral Mass beginning at 11am at Corpus Christi Church, 2014 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. A reception will follow at Pebble Creek Event Center, 9799 Prechtel Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45252.
