In loving memory of Judith "Judy" Strohofer, who was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who peacefully passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was the beloved daughter of the late August "Gus" and late Barbara "Barb" Speller. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.

Judy was the beloved wife of almost 62  years to Donald "Don" Strohofer, Sr, together they created a loving and nurturing home for their children, Donn Strohofer and Terri (Bruce) Medlin who will forever carry her spirit within their hearts. As a grandmother, she was a source of love and laughter for her grandchildren, Adiene (Joe)  Rasper, Aaron Medlin, Andrew (Sara) Medlin, Alana (Mike) Blasewitz. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren, Ethan Rasper, Owen Rasper, Nora Blasewitz, Michael Blasewitz  and Bowen Blasewitz. Judy also shared a special bond with her sister the late Barb (late Ken) Brandstetter. Judy will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Judy was known for her adventurous spirit that led her and Don on numerous journeys. Their fond memories of traveling, including many Caribbean and European cruises, that  brought them happiness. For 25 years, Judy enjoyed the warmth of the Florida sun, where she spent countless joyful moments at the beach and with her cherished dachshunds. Yet, no adventure compared to those spent surrounded by family who held her heart, and the memories created together will be cherished forever.

To celebrate Judy's remarkable life, a visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45239, on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and share in the love that she so generously gave. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, 701 E Ross Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45217, at 1:30 PM, where we will lay her to rest.

In lieu of flowers, her family kindly requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 225 N Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or to the SPCA Cincinnati Sharonville , 11900 Conrey Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249.

As her family and friends gather to honor her memory, we reflect on a life well-lived, one filled with laughter, love, and countless precious memories. Judith will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her, and her spirit will live on through the stories that will be shared for generations to come.
