Joseph Sparto beloved husband of 55 years to Sue (nee Hascher) Sparto . Devoted Father of Patrick (Jill) Sparto and Kathy (Chris) Nieman. Loving and proud grandpa of Joel Nieman, Kaleigh Nieman, T.J. Nieman, Justin Sparto, and Alyssa Sparto. Dear Brother of Mary and Rita. Preceded in death by his loving parents Vito and Angelina (nee Mirizzi) Sparto and his siblings Peter, Sam, Nick, John, Tony, and Aggie. He worked on the railroad for 31 years and loved playing cards, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed music and dancing and was an excellent cook. Joseph passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022, age 83. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Thursday (June 2) from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. James Church (White Oak) on Friday (June 3) at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati , PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263.
