Joseph W. Paulin, devoted father of Christine (Tom) Ankenbauer, Jennifer Semrad and Sarah (Karl) Imwalle. Loving grandfather of Maria (Drew), Joe, Ben, Grace, Michael, Sophie, Anna, Jack and Natalie. Great grandfather of Lily, Audrey and Cecilia.  Survived by his constant and caring companion, Peggy Hanna, whose devotion to Joe was appreciated by all who loved him. Son of the late Francis X. and late Mary Paulin. Dear brother of the late Francis X. Paulin Jr., James ( Jane ) Paulin, Renee (Ron) Deis, Claire (Ken) Edgell, William Paulin and Mary Paulin Oakes. Preceded in death by his brothers in law, Daniel Hughes, Kim Oakes and sister in law Joyce Paulin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Joseph passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the age of 77.  Joe was born on October 5, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA. The family moved to Cincinnati when he was in the 10th grade. He was a graduate of McNicholas High School and Xavier University.  Joe was a well-respected CPA and owned his own business for over 30 years.  Joe enjoyed golfing, fishing, the outdoors, and being with his family and friends. He was fun-loving, caring and compassionate. He will be remembered as the life of the party! Memorial gathering at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Friday (Oct. 28) from 10:30am until 12pm, followed by a celebration of life at Frederick Funeral Home Family Center.
