Joseph J. "Joe" Kuhr Jr., beloved husband of 59 years to Dorothy M. "Dottie" (nee Carle) Kuhr. Devoted father of Kim (David) Henle, Joe Kuhr III and Angie (Bill) Frigge. Loving grandfather of Karen, Brian and Allan Henle, Austin, Anthony and Samantha Kuhr and Doug, Audre, Karen, and John Frigge. Dear brother of John (Pam) Kuhr Sr., late Rose (Len) Voelker and late Peggy O'Neal. Joe was an active member of St. Jude parish for over 20 years and involved in the festival, boosters, and coaching. Joe lived in Louisville for 35 years and worked for UPS for over 25 years, retiring in their air division. While living in Louisville, he volunteered for over 20 years with Norton's Children's Hospital Festival of Trees and Lights planning committee and received two recognitions. He loved golfing at Persimmon Ridge Club and was very involved in PGA events at Valhalla Golf Club including the Ryder Cup. He was a proud US Army veteran and loved his country. Joe spent countless hours helping renovate and improving friends and family's homes. Most importantly, Joe loved spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren play in sports or perform in fine arts. Joe passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his home on Sunday, November 5, 2023, age 82.
