Joseph Allen Brewster peacefully passed away at age 49. He graduated from Purcell Marian High School before joining the United States Marine Corps. He served as a Marine Security Guard at multiple U.S. embassies and rose to the rank of Sergeant. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. Joe is survived by his parents, Bob and Diane Brewster, and siblings Mary (Rami) Leventhal, John (Gina) Brewster, and Jeff (Katie) Brewster. He was a proud uncle to Ian and Noah Leventhal, Luke Brewster, and William, Conner and Jacob Brewster. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Brewster. Joe suffered for years from the complications of mental illness. He will be greatly missed but we are thankful God has finally given Joe the peace we hoped he would find. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7th at Frederick Funeral Home at 2553 Banning Road from 9-11:00. Service will immediately follow. Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
