Devoted father of the late Mark Edward Murphy, Monica (late Mark) Vanskee, Matthew (Kelly) Murphy, Michael (Joanne) Murphy and Mary Gleis. Loving grandfather of Dustin Murphy, Sean (Ashley) Murphy, Chelsea (Alex) Harbin, Kevin (Victoria) Murphy, Jennifer Murphy, Matthew "Ryan" Murphy, Madalynne Gleis and Meghan (Landry) Assinesi. Great grandfather of Boone Thomas Murphy, Brecken John Murphy, late Charlotte Grace Murphy, Willa Grace Harbin, Ellis Mack Harbin and Emma Jade Murphy. Dear brother of the late Anna Catherine (late Richard) Stetson. Also survived by nieces and nephews. John passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the age of 96. Visitation at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5361 Dry Ridge Road on Saturday (Nov. 11) from 9:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am.
