Joan M. (nee Barrett) Tonnis, beloved wife of the late Clarence Tonnis. Devoted mother of Jim (Jody) Tonnis and Bill Tonnis. Loving grandmother of Zac (Jess) Tonnis and Elora Tonnis. Great-grandmother of Layne Elisabeth Tonnis. Dear sister of the late Eleanor T. Barrett. Joan loved to cook and was very devoted to her family and the Church. Joan passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at age 96. Visitation at St. William Church, 4108 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205 on Saturday (Feb 5) from 9am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial at Calvary Cemetery on Monday (Feb.7) at 11am.
