In Loving Memory of Joan Louise McIntyre (nee Hastell), a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Joan's life began on August 4, 1942, and found its peaceful closure on October 25, 2024, at the age of 82. She was the loving spouse of the late James William McIntyre and leaves behind a legacy of warmth and unconditional love.

Her memory lives on through her children, Diana (Tim) Garrison and Jim (Marcella) McIntyre, as well as her grandchildren, Melissa (Sherman) D'Souza, Megan (Eric) Smith, Noah, Gabriela, and Arianna. Dear sister of the late Arlene Ballauer. Joan was a caring presence in the lives of all who knew her, with a gentle spirit that illuminated every room she entered.

Fond of laughing with friends over lunch, embarking on camping adventures, and immersing herself in the pages of a good book, Joan found joy in life's simplest pleasures. Her visits to Florida were a source of delight, allowing her to spend precious moments with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.

A special soul who adored her canine companion, Macy, Joan also shared moments of joy watching "Dancing With the Stars" with her daughter and granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in remembrance and celebration of Joan's life on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10:30 am, at St. James Church in White Oak, located at 3565 Hubble Road.
