It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Baird, who left this world peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025, age 49, in the comfort of his family's embrace.

Jason is survived by his devoted wife, Laura Baird, and their two adoring children, Asher and Mylah. As a loving father, he filled their lives with joy, laughter, and an abundance of love. Jason was a beloved son to Jerry and Susan Baird. Son-in-law of Dan and Rosemary Rettig. A sweet grandson to Vivian and the late Earl Baird and to the late Evelyn and Erwin Spettel. He was a caring brother to Sarah (John) Romaker. Brother-in-law of Monica (William) Schulze and the late Gregg Rettig. Jason's spirit will be carried on by his cherished nieces and nephews: Morgan, Luke, Brady, Mason, Brandon (Alli), Jared, Jacob (Sheala), and Nick. He leaves behind a close knit family that includes Uncles David (Teresa) Baird and the late Doug Spettel. Jason also had the most devoted friends in his life. They took care of each other like brothers- they are brothers! His caring spirit and kindness resonated with everyone he met and will be forever remembered.

Jason loved the outdoors, whether hiking, camping or just watching the moon and stars he loved taking pictures of God's great glory. He found peace in taking photos of his family and each of his photos tells a beautiful story. Jason's laughter and kindness will be profoundly missed and remembered forever.

A visitation will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 11981 Pippin Rd., on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, allowing family and friends to gather in remembrance of a remarkable life. His funeral service will take place in the same location on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:30 AM, where we will come together to celebrate Jason's life and the beautiful impact he had on all who knew him.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Jason for the warmth he brought to our lives and the love that he shared. May his memory continue to inspire us to embrace our passions, cherish our loved ones, and live life to the fullest, just as he did.
