Janice Efkeman (nee Schmidt), beloved wife of 53 years to James E. "Jim" Efkeman. Devoted mother of Andrew (Susan) Efkeman, Sally (Mark) Blessing and Todd (Corinna) Efkeman. Loving grandmother of William Efkeman, Samuel Efkeman, Emily (Seth) Hicks, Eric Blessing, Nolan Blessing, Elise Efkeman and Lauren Efkeman. Dear sister of the late Joyce Ballman and late Thomas Schmidt. Janice passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, December 18, 2020, age 79. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Tuesday (Dec. 22) from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church, 2900 W. Galbraith Ave., on Wednesday (Dec. 23) at 10:00 a.m. Face masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.
