Janet Burling, beloved wife of the late Donald G. Burling for 49 years, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on September 22, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Janet was a woman of grace, kindness, and unwavering compassion.

Throughout her life, Janet was a devoted mother to her sons, David and Steven Burling, and their spouses, Cammy and Melinda Burling, respectively. She filled their lives with love, support, and cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort and warmth.

Janet's greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Megan Watts (Josh), Lauren Apple (Zachary), and Joey Burling (Jennie). Their laughter and bright smiles lit up her world. She was also blessed to be a great grandmother to Weston Watts, Kinsley Apple and the late Paisley Watts, whom she adored with all her heart.

Professionally, Janet dedicated over 28 years of her life working as an Executive Secretary at Procter and Gamble. Her commitment and professionalism earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Janet was a woman of faith and a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church, where she actively participated for 68 years. She found solace and strength in her community, and her dedication to the Knitting Ministry brought comfort to countless individuals in need.

In her free time, Janet immersed herself in the pages of history, devouring books and imparting her knowledge to anyone who would listen. She shared her passion for learning with others and took pride in her extensive knowledge of the past.

Janet's compassionate spirit extended beyond her immediate circle, as she selflessly volunteered her time at the Mason Police Department, offering her support and assistance to those who needed it most.

Friends and family remember Janet for her warmth, gentle nature, and ability to uplift those around her. Her genuine acts of kindness and unwavering love will be forever etched in their hearts. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Monday (February 12) from 10am until time of funeral service at 12pm.
