James Clark, a devoted husband, beloved father, cherished grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on July 2, 1937, in Stearns, Kentucky, James lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service.

He was the proud husband of the late Lucy Evelyn (nee Warner) Clark and the adoring father of late James Dean Clark Jr., Debra K. (Gary) Hofmann, and Melanie (Terry) Arnoldy. James was a loving grandfather to Heather (T.J.) Bedacht, Andrew (Jessica) Hofmann, Brigitte (Joe) Strelnik, Steven (Carolyn) Hofmann, Michael (Jordan) Moser, and Jimmers (Lexi) Moser. He also leaves behind the joyous legacy of his great-grandchildren: Arianna, Shane, Addyson, Jayden, Grayson, Brooklyn, Raelyn, Jackson, Evianna, Marissa, Briella, Ethan, Eleanor, Easton, Nolan, and Theo.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, James served his country faithfully before embarking on a long and fulfilling career with the United States Postal Service, where he dedicated 47 years of his life, beginning his journey on the trains. Known for his kind heart, he had a passion for bowling and enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino—activities that brought him joy and connection with loved ones.

James will be dearly missed by his family, including his dear siblings: Jerry Curtis (Debbie) Bryant, Barbara Sullivan, Allene Clark and Gloria Jean Ryan. Preceded in death by his siblings Jack (Emma) Clark, Merle (late Pam) Clark, and Karen Ehlinger.

Visitation for James will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, located at 5361 Dry Ridge Road in Colerain Township. Friends and family are welcome to join from 10 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
