Howard Ray Brooks, beloved husband of 27 years to Mary Ann (nee Greiner) Brooks. Devoted father of Steve (Susannah) Brooks, Scott Brooks, and Nikki (Larry) Ferneding. Dear brother to the late Norman Brooks, late Fay Siekbert and late Louise Schramn. Loving grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ray enjoyed golfing and traveling the world with his Mary Ann and family. Ray and Mary Ann went on 17 cruises and would try to take at least two vacations each year. While he enjoyed traving his main joy was spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed dearly. Ray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the age of 85. Grave side services at Arlington Memorial Garden, 2145 Compton Rd, on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ,  St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105.
