Hiram Bentley, beloved husband of the late Ella Louise (nee Foster) Bentley. Devoted father to Kimberly (William Scott III) Dillingham, Kevin Foster Sr., and the late Karen Bentley. Loving PaPa to Shakara, Scottie IV, Jeremiah, Queen, Kevin II and Kalen. Dear brother to Agnes (late Wallace) Hollingshed, Willie J (Eileen) Bentley and Melvin (Emily) Bentley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Hiram was positively influenced by his father, who taught him about the world and life in general. He lost his mother at a young age and clung to his older sister, Agnes, as a mother figure. After graduating high school, Hiram learned the construction business working alongside his brother, Willie J. In 1963 Hiram moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. He began his career as a machine operator in 1964 with Cincinnati Milacron and retired after 30 years of faithful service. As an adult he made the decision to give his life to Christ; he always did things on his own terms.

Hiram passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 75. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Saturday, January 23rd from 9a until time of funeral service at 9:50a. Special condolences may be expressed at frederickfh.com
