In loving memory of Helen M. Spitznagel, who was born on August 29, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio and passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at the age of 94, surrounded by her loving family. Helen was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly.

Helen was the cherished wife of the late Arthur R. Spitznagel and a devoted mother to her beloved children; Tina (Keith) Scruggs, Tim (Linda) Spitznagel, Dennis (Diane) Spitznagel, Doug (Debbie) Spitznagel, and Dan Spitznagel. She took immense joy in her role as a proud grandmother to Ben, Jennifer (Matt), James, Dennis, Jr. (Jennifer), Anthony (Mariah), Andrew, Sarah (Hollis), Liz, Rob (Shasta), and Ryan, as well as a doting great-grandmother to Charley, Destinee, Donovyn, Griffin, Juliette, Landen, Lillian, Lucas, Luna, Macy, Olivia, Owen, Paxton, Rosalind, Simon, Trinity, and Troy. She was preceded in death by her dear sister, Florence Heintschel, and brothers, Charles and Richard Miller. Helen will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Helen's warm heart and vibrant spirit made her a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her. A skilled knitter, enthusiastic gardener, and passionate bowler, she filled her days with creativity and laughter. Her unwavering support for her favorite teams, the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, showcased her spirited nature. Helen was a bright light and caring soul whose impact on her family and friends will be felt for generations.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Helen's remarkable life at a visitation on January 4, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd.  A funeral service will follow at St. Ann Church, 2900 W Galbraith Rd, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Ann Church , located at 2900 W Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239, as a tribute to a woman who embodied grace, love, and compassion in all she did. Helen's legacy of love and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched, as we remember and honor a truly remarkable woman.
