Helen Jane (nee Maisch) Schumacher, beloved life partner and married to the late Betty J. Olding. Devoted mother of Robert (Elaine) Schumacher, David (Carol) Schumacher, and Kathie (Bruce) Steinhard. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Katherine (nee Wolfe) Maisch and late Charles Maisch. Dear sister of Pat (Mal) Timm. Helen was known for always taking care of others. She went to Christ Hospital School of Nursing and dedicated her time helping people in need for over 30 years as a nurse. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, and most of all taking trips to Hocking Hills. Helen and Betty took many trips to Hocking Hills over the years and had their Holy union signifying their love for each other at Ash Cave. She was able to take her final trip to Hocking Hills in May of 2022 while camping with her son and daughter-in-law. Helen had a kind heart that cared for all and will be missed dearly. Helen peacefully passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 91.
