Hazel L. Ison (nee Strange) went to be with the Lord on 1/29/23 in cincinnati ohio surrounded by family and clergy. Hazel is survived by her daughter Kerrie  (John) and Lois ( Late Rick), Grandchildren Nick, Austin, Kaylee, DeSahwn, Marquez, Destiny and Jermiah and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother James Strange (Chery) , Sister in law Geraldine Strange and Brother in Law Andy Marshall. Also by lots of nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Ison, Parents Pauline and Rufus Strange Brothers Gene and Walter Strange, her sister Anna Runyon, brother in law Less Runyon, as well as her Son in Law Rick Villas,  mother in law Ruth Marshall and father in law Buzz and her sister in laws Carol and Faye.

Hazel was a loving mother and a devoted wife. She spent her free time playing cards or board games with her family. She enjoyed making crosses for anyone who felt they needed one. She loved Dalmations and was a big Kenny Rogers fan. She loved her family more than anything and will be truly missed.

The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
