Gerard "Gerry" Umberg, beloved husband of 63 years to Ann (nee Schreiber) Umberg. Devoted father of Susan (Darrel) Meece, Nicholas (Donna) Umberg, Rev. Andrew Umberg, Karen (Daniel) Sillies, Thomas (Tracy) Umberg, Robert Umberg and the late Paul Umberg. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Joe, Jennifer, Brent, Patrick, Derek, Joel, Leah, Olivia, Madelynn, Claire, Max, Siena, Alex and Ella. Great grandfather of 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jane (Bob) Friel, Ann (Fred) Thomas, Martin (Karen) Umberg, Dan Umberg, the late Lois (Ron) Schuppig and the late Frank Umberg. Brother-in-law of Pat (Dick) Umberg-Metsch. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gerry passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the age of 87. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Thursday (June 1) from 5-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church - White Oak on Friday (June 2) at 10:30am.
