George E. DeWalt, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the age 81. George's memory will be cherished by his devoted children, Marquel (Mike) Buhrmann, Nicole (Dan) Allnutt and Sean (Krisy) DeWalt and most proudly called pappy by Matthew, Audrey, Calvin, Spencer and Skylar. Also survived by his siblings, Ronald DeWalt, Marjorie Lyons and Kathryn Miller, nieces and nephews and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria A. (nee Myers) DeWalt and his siblings, Jim DeWalt and Virginia Casterwiller. His legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and love for the Cincinnati community will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his warmth and kindness. A man of simple pleasures, George found immense joy in swimming in his pool, cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, and tending to his yard with a sense of pride and dedication. His love for these activities reflected his appreciation for the beauty of life's simple moments. As a lithographer at Standard Publishing, George poured his dedication and skill into his work, leaving a lasting impact on his colleagues and the printing industry as a whole. His commitment to his craft was unwavering, and his passion for excellence shone through in every project he touched. In this time of mourning, let us remember George with fondness and gratitude for the light he brought into our lives. May his spirit find peace, and may his memory continue to inspire us to live with the same passion and dedication that he embodied in his lifetime.
