Elizabeth Marie Fehring (nee Burger), lovingly known as Betty, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on November 25, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio to late Carl and late Elisabeth (nee Linz) Burger, she gracefully navigated the tapestry of life, leaving behind a legacy woven with love and warmth.

Betty was the cherished wife of the late David M. Fehring and the devoted mother of Lori Farkas, Mark (Michele) Fehring, Paul (Jacque) Fehring, Jeffrey (Debra) Fehring, and the late Joseph (Michelle) and late David Fehring. She wore the title of Grandma with pride, touching the lives of her grandchildren, including the late Kevin (Jenny), Nicholas, Elizabeth (Joshua), Kelly (Mark), Tara (Eric), Amanda (Patrick), Aundrea (Ed), Mark (Kristen), Michael (Sara), Morgan (Joe), Jason (Paige), Jamie, Jessica (Tyler) and Courtney. Her love extended further to numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry a piece of her spirit. Betty is survived by her dear sister, Virginia (late Edward) Wuebold. Betty was rooted in family, and her heart will live on in their memories.

A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Betty embraced her community with open arms. She was a treasured member of St. Ann's Church for more than 53 years, where she sang with the choir and offered compassion and solace through the bereavement committee. She was once a devoted organist at St. Ann Church, where her melodies graced the hearts of many congregants and filled the sanctuary with joy. Betty found joy in the simple pleasures of life-cooking and baking for her loved ones, her laughter ringing through the air during family gatherings, and the delightful moments spent playing bingo. She was a true lover of life and a beacon of light for all who knew her.

As we gather to honor this remarkable woman, a Mass will be held at St. Ann Church, 2900 W. Galbraith Road on August 5, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. We invite family and friends to gather for a time of visitation beginning an hour earlier at 9:30 a.m. On that day, we will celebrate her life, share stories, and find comfort in one another. Following the Mass, we will lay her to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
