Ed Schnelle, age 69 of Cincinnati, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at home next to his loving wife, Pam. He was born on July 28, 1956, to the late Ernst and Eleanor Schnelle.

Ed was the devoted husband of Pamela J. Schnelle (nee Innis) for 24 years. He was the proud father of Tricia (Rick) Hoffman, and grandfather of Derek and Devin.

He is survived by his siblings Janet (John) McElfresh, Bob (Meredith) Schnelle, Ron (Debbie) Schnelle, Marianne (Steve) Neiheisel, Claire (Mark) Teufel, and Rick (Judy) Schnelle, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ed loved watching football, golf, and college basketball, and was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns. He also loved relaxing at home with Pam and traveling to the beach and the mountains.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Sunday, July 26, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Frederick Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Ed's memory to CurePSP ( www.psp.org ) or The American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org ). CurePSP's mission is to raise awareness and find a cure for progressive supranuclear palsy. The mission of the American Cancer Society is to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
