In Loving Memory of Dolores Eglseder

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolores T. Eglseder, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Dolores passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories. Dolores was born on November 16, 1932, and throughout her life, she embraced the beauty of exploration and adventure. Together with her sister Rosemarie, she embarked on many unforgettable journeys, discovering new places and creating countless cherished memories.

Family meant everything to Dolores, and her heart swelled with joy at the sight of her big family. She was a devoted mother to her children, the late Carl Eglseder, Amanda Kincaid, Daniel Eglseder, Jeanne (Don) Schroeder, the late Phillip Eglseder, Alex (Jeff) Hacke, Joseph (Kerry Broderick) Eglseder, James (Nicole) Eglseder, and Janice Eglseder. Dolores took immense pride in her role as a grandmother, and her love extended to her cherished grandchildren, Curt, John, Crystal, and Jennifer Eglseder, Marc and Scott Abanto, Katie Schroeder, Joseph and Mark Eglseder, Hailey Snook, Josi Haarmeyer, Cameron and Morgan Eglseder, Alison Owens, Robyn Page, Major Hacke, and Franklin Steele. She also had the privilege of being a great-grandmother to Harper Eglseder, Bailey Cantrell, Abigail, Ben, Luc, and Orion Abanto.

In addition to spending time with her family, Dolores enjoyed sewing, quilting, attending plays, and reading. She especially enjoyed a good mystery Dolores will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark that will forever be cherished.

Visitation in tribute to Dolores Eglseder will take place on Wednesday, February 21, at the Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. During this time, we will come together to celebrate Dolores remarkable life and find comfort in the shared memories that will forever keep her spirit alive.
