Diana Sue Lindauer, "Sue", (nee Brown), of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away at 75 years of age at Good Samaritan Hospital on Sunday, July 28th, 2024 after a 28-year-long battle with cancer. She was born on July 21st, 1949 to the late Elbert and Morine (nee: Goodin) Brown in Harlan County, Kentucky. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Herb Brown. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Douglas E. "Doug" Lindauer, her daughter, Kelli (Eric Fecher) Smith, her son, Jamie Smith, and her two grandchildren, Brett Fecher and Haley Fecher. She was a lifelong Cincinnatian and a 1967 graduate of Western Hills High School.

Though Sue was small in stature, she was mighty in spirit and determination. Loved ones knew her to be a pillar of strength and resiliency they could rely on for guidance and support when faced with decisions or any life difficulties. They also knew they'd walk into an impeccably clean and orderly home whenever they visited the Lindauer household; she took a great deal of pride in her home and her family. She spent her life tending to the needs of everyone in her orbit, especially her family, with whom she gave her time and talents generously. This generosity continued in death; because she was an organ donor, two people received her corneas. Among her other talents was her quick wit and spirited sense of humor, which always led family and friends to enjoy her company even more.
