With heavy hearts but joyful memories, we celebrate the life of Clifford G. Margeson, who departed this world peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the remarkable age of 98. Born on July 29, 1927, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cliff was a beloved son to the late William and Mary Lou (nee Ries) Margeson.

Cliff was the loving husband of the late Rosemary H. (nee Roberto) Margeson. Together, they forged a beautiful life, filled with laughter and adventure. He is survived by his devoted children Rhonda (the late Thomas Jr.) Link and Kevin (the late Diane) Margeson. His enduring spirit lives on through his cherished grandson, Daniel (Lindsay) Link. Cliff was preceded in death by his siblings, Marilyn Raeburn, Wilbur Margeson, and Melvin Margeson-a testament to the strong family bonds he nurtured in life.

Clifford proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War, reflecting the values of courage and sacrifice that defined his character. Upon returning home, he embarked on a fulfilling career as a Field Supervisor at CG&E, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence.

In his spare time, Clifford found great joy in restoring his prized antique car, a 1936 Plymouth Coup, which he lovingly brought back to its original splendor. This passion for restoration was mirrored in his approach to life-always striving to preserve the beauty and history that surrounded him. He often reminisced about the weekends spent along the Ohio River at the cottage he built with his brother-in-law, Bob, where countless memories of boating, fishing, and laughter were created.

Cliff's later years were blessed with the pursuit of sunshine and warmth as he and Rosemary became winter snowbirds in LaBelle, Florida, savoring the simple pleasures of life. Above all, Cliff was a family man, treasuring every moment spent with loved ones-the cornerstone of his heart.

A funeral service to honor Clifford's remarkable life will be held on November 24, 2025, at Frederick Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation starting at 9:00 a.m., allowing family and friends to gather and share their memories of a man who touched so many lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) at 860 Dolwick Dr, Erlanger, KY 41018, as a fitting tribute to a man who lived life with purpose and a sense of duty.
