In loving memory of Claire A. Klar, who was born on August 24, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Schroeder. Claire passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, at the age of 92. She had an abundance of devoted friends and family, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Claire is now reunited in heaven with her beloved son, Frank Jr., and her husband of 65 years, Frank Klar. She leaves behind her dear brother, Ron (late Shirley Mae) Schroeder and was preceded in death by her late brother, Joel Schroeder. She was a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a surrogate grandmother to the children of Frank Jr.'s closest friends.

Throughout her life, Claire dedicated herself to her family and community. She worked for a time as a bookkeeper, but she found her true calling as a homemaker, nurturing her son with warmth and love. A devout Catholic, Claire actively participated as a volunteer at several churches during her lifetime, most recently at St. Ignatius Church. She previously called Bingo at Hillebrand Nursing Home and devoted 25 years to volunteering at Mercy West Hospital in Nutrition Services. Claire was known for her resilience in facing adversity and for speaking her mind candidly. She had a keen memory and could recount detailed childhood memories or name just about any Hallmark star. Claire was a competitor but always a good sport, whether playing bridge, Rummikub or any card game.

In honoring Claire's life, a visitation will be held at St. Ignatius Church, located at 5222 North Bend Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45247, on October 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Ignatius Church , 5222 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247 or Hospice of Cincinnati , P.O. As we gather to celebrate Claire's remarkable life, let us remember her warm spirit, her unwavering faith, and the love she shared with all. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
