Ceil (nee Schultz) Ante, beloved wife of 49 years to Charlie Ante. Devoted mother of Carrie (Kevin) Josche and Brian (Kelly) Ante. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Gwen and Caroline Josche, Kylie, Reagan, Josephine, Nora, Olivia, Brody and the late Jonathan Charles Ante. Dear sister of Tom (Diane) Schultz, Teresa (Paul) Rogers, Jim (Lynn) Schultz and Becky (Ted) Alverson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ceil was a life-long Cincinnatian who was devoted to Catholic education and the Catholic Church.  She was a faithful member of St. Ann's Parish for nearly 50-years and attended mass daily since her retirement.  Ceil taught thousands of students in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati over her 30-year teaching career, including 25-years as a 6th grade teacher at St. John the Baptist School, Dry Ridge.  Ceil loved spending time outdoors with Charlie and her family and friends and could often be found enjoying the nearest flower garden.  She dearly loved her grandchildren and being a part of their numerous activities, mainly as an enthusiastic spectator of soccer, theater, and dance.  Always channeling her creativity for making things, she was known as the family's seamstress and even sewed handmade pajamas as Christmas gifts every year for her grandchildren.  Ceil and Charlie traveled together periodically and she especially liked camping or going to the beach with family.  She had a servant's heart as an active supporter of the Miraculous Medal and Pro-Life causes and sponsored many needy children in several Third World countries.  Her spirit of giving is continuing past the end of her life on earth, as she was also an organ donor upon her death. Ceil passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 7, 2023, age 75. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Tuesday (Jul 11) from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church, 2900 W. Galbraith Rd., on Wednesday (July 12) at 10:00 a.m.  Family and friends are encouraged to wear something yellow to the Visitation and Mass in memory of Ceil's favorite color.
