Catherine Mary Catanzaro, known affectionately as a devoted mother and beloved Nana, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the age of 68. She was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and the late Joyce Whaley.

Catherine will forever be remembered as a loving mother to Lynnette (Rob) Beebe and Larry (Angie) Welch, and as a cherished Nana to Brittany (Ben) Kroeger, Bradley Beebe, Benjamin Beebe, Hadley Welch and Trevor Snipes. Her legacy of love extends even further as she is also a proud Great Nana to Wesley Kroeger.

She shared a deep bond with her siblings Joan (Joe) Olding, Kimberly (Dan) Muchmore, Charles Whaley, Richard (Debbie) Whaley, late Michael Whaley, Gerard (Sharon) Whaley, David (Kim) Whaley and Thomas (Gretchen) Whaley. Dear friend of John Bennett. Her imprint on the lives around her, as a sister and a friend, will be cherished for all time.

Catherine will be fondly remembered for her love of crafting, baking, and camping, always eager to share her passions with those around her. Her zest for life was infectious, always seeking out the joy in every moment and spreading it generously to those fortunate enough to be in her presence. Family was at the core of her being, with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild holding a special place in her heart.

As we celebrate her life, we honor her with a private service that will be a reflection of the joy and light she brought to us all.
