In loving memory of Catherine Ann Farley, a beloved teacher, aunt and cherished friend, who left this world peacefully on September 16, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 30, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Bernard Francis and the late Mary Catherine (nee Brown) Farley. Cathy lived a life devoted to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning, serving with pride for forty years. Her legacy as an educator will forever resonate in the hearts of her students and colleagues.Cathy will be fondly remembered for her warm spirit, her genuine kindness, and her unwavering support for those she loved. She is now reunited in eternal rest with her dear brother, the late Bernard Michael Farley. A devoted aunt, Cathy held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephew, Kimberly Ann Bischoff, James Patrick (Lori) Farley, and Mary Catherine Farley. She was also a proud great-aunt to seven and a great-great-aunt to ten, whose lives she touched with warmth and joy. Her relationships extended beyond family, as Cathy shared a deep and abiding friendship with Sr. Della Mae Meyer and Judy Van Niman, who will miss her dearly.Cathy's life was filled with simple pleasures that will be fondly remembered by those she loved. From her passion for reading and playing cards to her excitement watching Notre Dame football games and her love for travel, Cathy found joy in the everyday moments shared with friends and family. Her nurturing spirit and infectious laughter will be missed but celebrated in the hearts of all who knew her.To honor Cathy's remarkable life, a visitation will take place at St. Ignatius Church, located at 5222 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247 on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 10:45am at Calvary cemetery in Dayton. We invite all who knew and loved Cathy to come together in remembrance as we celebrate a life well-lived and a spirit that will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
