Caroline "Carol" A. Hoerst (nee Niefield), beloved wife of 67 years to the late Richard T. Hoerst. Devoted mother of the late Mark Richard Hoerst. Loving grandmother of Anna Marie Grubenhoff and Jonathan Mark (Kasey) Hoerst. Great grandmother of Keegan Grubenhoff, Reed Grubenhoff, Olivia Hoerst and James Hoerst. Dear sister of Charlotte (Elmer) West. Preceded in death by brother and sisters: John "Jack" (Cecelia) Niefield, Jo Ann Smith, and Mary Cromer. Sister-in-law of Raymond Hoerst and Louise Altenau. Carol passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the age of 85. Visitation will be held on Friday (January 7) from 8:30am - 9:30am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church - White Oak at 10am.
