Barbara L. (nee Froehlich) Schroer, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024, at the age of 80 with her daughter by her side. Born on December 9, 1943 to the late Peter and Mary Alice (nee Cornell) Froehlich. She dedicated her career as a diligent bookkeeper at H&R Block.

Barb found joy in the simple things in life, especially in spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cheering them on in their activities and sports. Her deep love for her husband was evident in the hours they spent together in their yard, creating a haven of peace and beauty.

Barb is the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Schroer. Devoted mother of Cindy (Fred) Hartman, Mark (Kelly) Schroer and Dan (Jill) Schroer. Loving grandmother of Dustin (Sarah), Tiffany (Brandon), Jack, Jamie, Julia, Joseph, Eliza and Oliver. Great Grandmother of Cali, Addison, Acadia and Blakely. Dear sister of Randy (Teri) Froehlich, who will forever treasure her memory.

To honor and celebrate Barb's life, a Memorial Mass will be held at St. James Church (White Oak), 3565 Hubble Rd., on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:30 am. Prior to the mass, friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., from 9:00 am.- 10:00 am.

Barb's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all those who were blessed to have known her. May Barb's gentle soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so freely shared with all who knew her. Her memory will forever be a beacon of light in the hearts of those she touched.
