Barbara Ann Gaviglia was a cherished wife, a dedicated mother, and a loving grandmother. She passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024, at the age of 82, surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years, Fred Gaviglia, her children Scott (Tracy) Gaviglia and Christine (Keith) Brunswick, and her adored grandchildren Meghan, Jacob, and Connor. She also leaves behind her dear sister Penelope "Penny" Farrar and her brother Warren Reddish.

Barbara, born on May 6, 1942, in Springfield, MA, was an avid reader and talented baker. She had a passion for literature and a skillful touch in the kitchen. A loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, she found joy in cheering on her favorite team.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at Groesbeck Church, 8871 Colerain Ave., on Saturday, July 13, 2024, beginning at 10:30 am. A funeral service to honor her memory will follow at 12:00 pm (noon) on the same day at the church.
