Alexander "Alex" Thien Nguyen, beloved son of Mai Nguyen and the late Oanh Nguyen. Dear brother of Tuan (Loan) Nguyen, Thanh Leahy, Tammy (Todd) Ernst, Tu (Kim) Nguyen, Tony (Julie) Nguyen and Josh (Jean) Nguyen. Uncle of Monica, Peter, Mary, Elizabeth, Megan, Becca (Tony), Sonya (Brandon), Bailey, Katie, Jack, TJ, John, Jacob, Dominic, Rachel, Hannah, Ava, Emme and Eli. Great uncle of Ben, Sydnee, and Mia. Alex was a graduate of Assumption grade school, LaSalle High School, and the University of Cincinnati. He lived his life to the fullest and threw himself wholeheartedly into his passions for all types of food and music, travel, and of course Bearcats football. The exuberant joy that he brought with him will be fondly missed but forever cherished. Alex passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 42.
